In keeping with the character(less) features of Futura and also considering that whomever would actually use such a typeface would not normally partake of holidays, this is about as exciting as Futura gets :)

: )))))
Stop Graham you're killing me, not even a sans snowflake that would fall so fast it would crash through the roof of a car? That would be the bold of course : )

Your snowman also seems to be missing a head...unless that's an emoticon snowman. :)
Peace,
JT

In the Futura future heads on snowmen are unnecessary decoration from the past; just like serifs and uneven stroke weight.

These geometric representations of binary orders (2⁰, 2¹, 2², &c.) are my Christmas present to Paul Renner.
And to everyone:
Happy Christmas! Happy New Year! I wish you all new clothes and fresh eyes, and may your lives be twice perfect.

Do you mind if Sarah comes to my house tonight. Hell, my wife hasn't winked at me like that in years. One time she got something in her eye and looked like that though : )

Hi Paul, welcome to Typophile.
This is the current battle. So you're not too late.
Go ahead and take a stab at it. :)
17 Dec 2008 — 10:20am
Can you tell what this is supposed to be?
17 Dec 2008 — 10:45am
A 1920's German Christmas stocking?
17 Dec 2008 — 11:07am
It's clearly a gift under a beautifully decorated Christmas tree.
Clearly!
17 Dec 2008 — 12:57pm
More festive Futura fun..

Futura Claus. That's just brilliant. I see his mouth is the number 5. That's close enough to the requirement for me!
18 Dec 2008 — 8:30am
Going for a classic modernist style.
Hopefully, Paul Renner would be proud.
What do you guys think?
18 Dec 2008 — 9:43am
Early tests at the Bauer foundry convinced Renner to adopt a more conventional lowercase 'g'.
18 Dec 2008 — 2:13pm
This is my first attempt, nice battles :-)
Trying to keep it simple:
19 Dec 2008 — 11:16am
Fabio, great entry! This one is my favorite so far. They are simple, clearly identifiable and match the style of Futura very well.
19 Dec 2008 — 3:22pm

Thought I'd hit you with some local Futura Swedish Christmas decorations.
Merry Christmas! God Jul!
