Doesn’t fit the requirements at all, a piece i’ve done years ago. Since nobody posted yet, maybe it’s good for inspiration. Good luck!

Go easy on me, this took a long time 'cause I'm a noob. but constructive criticism is definately wanted.

i had the same problem. when you insert image you ahve to make sure there are no spaces in the filename. that should work. btw great star typeface!

It needs lots of work but here's something...
Tyler- nice work!

This is a font I made at college last year. We were asked to design a visual identity for Hillary Clinton to be used in the United States democratic election campaign, but I chose to design a font based on the Stars & Stripes instead. I did make the font strong yet feminine so that it would fit her, but it is primarily designed using the flag as a grid. I am not finished designing the font, but given the challenge I couldn't resist posting it here.

This is what happens when I cannot finish the Mojo crossword and start doodling.

It also appears I cannot even remember the alphabet – that will be why I couldn't do the crossword.
R – what a nitwit.

Awesome typeface Tyler, visually pounces on me!

Here's a sample of the "stars and stripes"-alphabet I created. I did the characters A-Z and I'll try and post it once I've tweaked it a bit.
I love type!

Tobias,
Sweet, the solid constructivism almost changes the nationality of the message.

@timd
Thanks!
Yeah, working on it I noticed that as well. =P
I don't know if a change in color scheme would do any good.
I love type!

Here's a quick try out of an idea. The concept is that all the full caps will feature the star somewhere in their design. I think the star could be bigger. Small caps for lower case looks OK but it might be worth trying true lower case too. Any other suggestions gratefully accepted.
Also, this is my first post on Typophile. Hello everyone!

Thanks Tyler and Carolann. I've done some more work on it and drawn uc, lc and sc glyphs. I've posted it up for critique if people fancy taking a look: http://typophile.com/node/54821
