Musical symbols

Hi there,

Can somebody recommend an elegant (preferably free) music font?
Bayard-Nizet’s Virtuoso is the closest to what I need. I am not writing music, I just need a few symbols for a project.

Gramophone Magazine: typeface?

I want to attempt to redesign Gramophone Magazine for my college project. I can’t quite identify the font the magazine is set in. Can anyone help?
