Logo Font

I have a logo I designed that I actually love lol. I took a couple different fonts and edited a couple letters so suit the logo better. I honestly hate using a straight font without editing it for the logo design. Please let me know what you think ;)

FontStruct

So I'm new to FontStruct. I think it's sort of complicated, but it's not as complicated as creating a whole font from scratch.

When I sit down to create a font, I get some kind of creative overload, block, thing. I think that this will be easy, but then I have all these worries. What if the font looks too much like all the ones I've seen? What if everyone thinks it's horrible? How do I even get started on this thing? It's all so stressful to me.

I can say this. My most favorite fonts are sans serif. I like them to be clean with very little flair. That's about it.

Any advice is more than welcome.

Introduction

Hello Typophile community. My name is Jamie. I joined typophile so that I may learn more about typography. I'm not very good at creating a font, and I get tired of using the same old font in a lot of my identity designs. Well I don't use the same font, but you know what I mean. It seems like a broken record to me. I would like to have some more creativity under my belt.

My favorite type of logos are the ones that have a clever use of negative space, and ones that use text more effectively than just at the bottom or to the side of the logo.

Thanks for reading and I hope I can prove to be somewhat useful here.
