Does anybody know what this font is?
Hi, Does anybody know what this font is? I have a client that wants to change their tag line, but they gave me all original files that the fonts were already outlined and I have no idea what font it is.
Thanks

tate etc text face
dear all
I can't find what is the face used in tate etc, the magazine of the tate (UK).
it has something of adobe garamond pro, but it's definitely not that.
art direction is by cornel windlin.
please find here two images (roman + italic), and I will post more later (if necessary).
thanks for the help :)
Latinization? Helveticaization!
I just thought to share this finding:
.
.
Is it Lao? or Thai? or …?
Is that style of type widespread and usual for that script?
.
Now it’s time to do a Thai-style – Armenian.
Which font, help!
Hello!
This font is so familiar, but I can't remember the name of it! Very grateful for quick help!

Is it really bad to keep rebuilding the "kern" feature in fontlab?
I keep changing things within the kerning and whenever I generate a font, it asks me if I want to rebuild the kern feature.
Sometimes, I get the dialog box when generating the OTF font file at the end of the exporting process... and that's when it freezes the program. the only safe way I can rebuild it is to rebuild it within the opentype window and then generate the font.
I'm afraid i'm damaging the font?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Period typefaces for body text
Hello! I've got a bit of dilemma on my hands. I'm currently the design editor of my university's student newspaper and for April 1st we're doing a joke issue with the theme "time warp." Each page will be from a certain period in time, with the first page being the beginning of the universe (the leading cover choice right now is a blank page) and the last page will the end of it. All pages will be themed, with some modeled after illuminated manuscripts and others 1920s newspapers, for example.
Now, I'm incredibly excited for this project, but the fonts have got me tripped up, specifically at the very beginning (cavemen and the discovery of fire) and the end (the far, far future). Anything after the start of movable type I'm fine with, obviously, because I can start to use Garamond and the like. But I'd like some ideas for the type before typography and into the future.
(x) Simple Sans-Serif. I swear I know it...please help. - AG Old Face, Vectora {Mark S}
Thought I knew it...Thank you for the help.
