&lt;p&gt;I wonder if her slightly &amp;#8217;activist&amp;#8217; tone should perhaps have been underplayed. It may just be a disturbing thing about India though. Here anybody who talks about the environment is increasingly portrayed as &amp;#8217;hysterical&amp;#8217;, &amp;#8217;utopian&amp;#8217;,  and &amp;#8217;anti-development&amp;#8217;. That of course makes it easy to discredit what they are saying...&lt;/p&gt;
