So this is your famous non-profit project? Exchanging 2 glyphs in Gentium ...

I think the new glyphs don’t fit very well with the existing glyphs, neither in proportion nor stroke modulation.

I wonder what the mentioned reasons to abandon k may be?

A Free Font that replaces the k / K english & european alphabets for
another shape for spiritual / philosophical reasons. When you press k /
K .....you get a different shape!

This is for users and developers bundling the font on their software applications.
