I liked the type moti bili

I liked the type moti bili on the first one but it read as motibili and not as two words. I’d suggest simplifying. and when you see the cat with it’s back it looks like a rose until you look at it twice.

Not a fan of the scripty font just doesn’t read well.

Simpler is stronger.

I don’t think the brushy script matches the even clean curves of the cat. The whole is not equal to the sum of its parts.

There’s something about this kind of shape that make it instantly likeable but also a bit childlike. Maybe because I associate the rounded shape with the barbapapa family...does anyone here remembers?

Yes, the fatcat digital shape and the motibilli shape evoke different feels. Maybe yours is nicer but it’s less “cool” and more childlike, which is not bad at all. In fact, I think it’s fantastic job, I’m sure it’ll be a triumph. I hope not as much as the hellokitty though...and I would definetely adopt the correct spelling, there’s nothing more irritating that seeing your language being ripped on some t-shirt.

Just a detail. Shouldn’t the left side of the cat’s bottom curve be raised a bit more to compensate the radius on the right? I looks a bit uneven to me.

Moti Bili — Logo Design for Clothing Company

Here is a logo design I’m working on for a UK based clothing company — Moti Bili. I’m told by the client that Moti Bili translate to “Fat Cat” (Arabic maybe?). Since it’s a clothing company the symbol must be very simple as it will be printed at very small sizes (tags, etc...)

I’m working on a few concepts at the moment, this one is probably the furthest along of any. I thought it would be a good time to get some feedback and suggestions. Right now I’m open to anything from what you see when you look at the symbol, to small tweaks (add to the “catness”), fonts, etc...
