Where is it doing that, in applications or in the design program? You may need to fix path directions, or it could just be a visual indicator in that tool to let you know where there’s overlapping. Hard to say what’s going on without more information.

Overlap Problem

Have a problem when strokes of my script typeface overlap...it inverts the shape where it overlaps. Any clues as to how to fix this? (See Attachment)
