Fenice is the font I was thinking of, but my sample doesn’t match anything I’ve found for sale. It looks like it is made from one of the lighter weights, with a stroke added, and squashed vertically.

Would that be Pax #2?

I’ve seen this font so many times, but can’t remember the name. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
