 <description>&lt;p&gt;Chinese, maybe? At least it’s not Japanese. The left is “正”. I don’t know of the right one, perhaps “維”?&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Oriental unknown</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;A friend of mine asked me to do a monogram like design with these oriental characters but I don&amp;#8217;t even know which langauge are they in. Who can identify them? How can I pull them out of a font to know their actual typographic shape?&lt;/p&gt;
