Howdy folk, we're launching an on-screen design studio.
The approach was to keep a friendly, approachable spin while having something that could play nicely in more serious/sensible surrounds.

Appreciate thoughts and feedback on letter shape/weighting.
Would also love some typeface recommends to sit with it.
Our current view sees some contrasting pairs used, i.e, VAG and Corona
Any and all welcome and appreciated.

You already know about Ernestine. :-)
What about Stone's singular Silica?

Ernestine would be a good choice here, or maybe Archer.

Archer is more congenial and better if you have a lot of text, Ernestine is more industrial and better onscreen. I'll resist discussing which has a far cooler Italic. :-)
Disclaimer: I had a hand in the latter.

Yeah. Know and love Ernestine, I wonder if it's to same having (essentially) two serifs.
Think the mark is working ok though? I wonder whether there's something off with the p/e ... but can't put my finger on it.

Someone pointed out that the S looks like it's falling backwards ever so slightly ... and now, I can't unsee it.
Very good pick up.
