Wow that is some crappy kerning in that sample.

This one is going to drive me nuts, because I think I've recently seen it in a font collection. Where the heck was it???

I am still having no luck pinning this down, but I found a freeware font that has some similarities called Napapiiri by CybaPee, a friend of mine.

Hi All,

Stephen -- I think you may be right. source is uptonic.com

Patricia -- blame flash's poor kerning. this headline was produced using a modified sIFR: http://www.mikeindustries.com/blog/archive/2005/02/sifr-2.0-release-candidate-4

Mike -- I know, I thought I'd seen this, or something very similar, in some collection.

I peeked into the source for the page and the sIFR Flash file is called "digitalis.swf". Sure enough, Digitalis is what it is.

Mark - now why didn't I think of that?

I thought I seen this somewhere at Veer
http://www.veer.com/products/typedetail.aspx?image=GTT0000004

how's them ital's comin'?

Soon. Relax. :-)

Now, Thats what I call the typophil'ic approach to research and ID'in fonts, Mark.. Nicely done..

You're right, that's some hideous kerning. I tought it must have been done in Powerpoint.

It almost makes me ashamed to see it looking so crap.

Veer is where I saw it before. Thanks for putting me out of my misery on this one. It really was driving me nuts. That's going in both the Script Guide and the Sans Guide.

Don't beat yourself up about it Yves, you can't be expected to recognise everything immediately.

Guessing free, or poor customization. What's the source?

Damn, I should've known this as well. :-)

Sorry'boutthat Nick, i guess I'll go back and study the G-Type
catalogue you sent me some more ... My face is red.
