I'm trying to recreate these signs:
Can someone help me out with identifying the font, it looks a bit like Giza, but it is more rounded...
(I meant the Headquarters sign, the Fort Legoredo is a Giza in fact I think?!)
Thanks man, you rock! And even freely available...
Freely available? Not that I knew of. Where?
Jan, what does asking "Where?" achieve?
Jan, is my question not worth answering?
Is that the guy who I said I would ignore until he apologizes for insulting me?
Yes, it is.
Jan on 26 Feb 2013 — 10:23am:
I apologize for insulting you, and will make sure not to do that again. If I do, please report me to the site administrators. And you in turn don't have to apologize for insulting me; plus I won't report you when you do.
Now, on to my question.
You may also want to address my question following your post here:
I wonder if the inquisitor is going to waterboard me if I just keep on ignoring him.
Jan on 26 Feb 2013 — 11:44am:
If you accept my apology (as you said you would) and my promise not to attack you, why not answer the question? Don't you think your opinion on this is worth stating, and might help people out?
Should I not be concerned with how a post can be incorrectly interpreted by people?
Jan, do you think a person -especially a recent arrival- could be forgiven for the following, based on your second post:
- Thinking that Typophile is OK with some people pirating fonts, so it's OK to ask?
- Providing a link on Typophile of where to download Rosewood Fill for free?
- Thinking -based on the neutrality of your question- that you want to find a free source yourself?
I'm personally confident that you're not a font pirate, but do you think incorrect perceptions of people and places can cause trouble? Do you feel that everybody makes mistakes, but it's good to try to make amends? Do you think we're all in this together whether we like it or not, or are we just individuals with nothing in common?
