Sorry, don't know any font that could match this "ALIEN". I don't even think it could be a font as it, more a customization of some (generic) sans. You could even start with Verdana (the one "MYSTERIES" is set in) and rework all finials as hook/harpoon/trident/claw. If you still need something in the same ballpark, having a look to the Gothic > Moderne section at DaFont may worth a shot (Unreleased...).

I don't have an exact match either, but here is another start point if you go to customization route: ITC Serif Gothic

wondering if it would be easier to remove the serifs on something like Copperplate Gothic?

15 min tweaking Verdana mainly, as I said, redrawing finials. You can even start with the /I and recreate the all thing from it.
