i believe the post itself identifies the type. if you visit the designer's site
http://www.mstetson.com/2012/10/22/la-distributrice-montreal/
it states:
"The custom typography and clean black-and-white palette are perfection."

that said, i could be all wrong. there are many sans serif fonts similar to this, such as Akzidenz Grotesk and the like that could fit your needs.

Totally agree with Jodie. Some suggestions for gothic compressed rounded in the same vein: Cst Berlin Round, Static, AF Module Text, Pinky, Titillation, Mensch, Ostrich Sans Rounded, Blanch, Almelo
