Is there a program that converts a font I've just created into an OTF or True Type?

There may be a problem with the Glyphs Mini recommendation...

“No UFO support, no import of EPS or SVG files.”

Bigger problem: not free. FontForge is free - is it the only one? But AFAIK it's a bear to get to work right.

Caprice, if you can come up with $100 this
http://www.fontlab.com/font-editor/typetool/
is worth it. And if you're a student the FontLab people have deals for you.

BTW, you haven't actually created a font yet. :-) Just a bunch of letterforms. The dark side awaits...

Moving from Illustrator to Glyphs is covered in the Glyphs blog.

Glyphs mini supports copy+paste from Illustrator, just not whole Illustrator-file import. Know before you speak.
