Naming problem, want to have the fonts in the same family
0

I'm having a problem naming my new font, both Regular and Italic styles should belong to the same family but it's not working that way and I can't figure what I'm doing wrong, any tips? I've used the same naming structure in another font and it worked just fine but on this one it isn't working, it displays both styles in different families.

I've attached the images of the settings of each style.

Thanks!

I believe 2014.44.25.png shows the problem. Did you click on "Build Names" at the bottom, right next to the yin-yang symbol? That should have put "italic" in the rest of the fields.

Also make sure "Additional OpenType names" has been reset...

Check that you do not have any stray spaces on the end of lines, particularly the family names.
Also do a cache clean up on your system.

Can't believe it really was a stray space at the end of the family name causing this problem, after trying everything that was really the issue haha.

Thanks malcolm, I wouldn't figure that by myself anytime soon, seems it's working fine now!
