Good Pairing for Modesto Lite Expanded

What text typefaces would pair well with Modesto Lite Expanded, if it were used for headings?

Since I assume Modesto Text isn't texty enough for you, I guess Brothers would be even further off. So maybe: http://www.myfonts.com/search/hypatia/fonts/

What are you designing? We can't make useful suggestions unless we know more about the goals, audience, usage.

I’m designing letterhead for personal and professional correspondence in which the author’s name in Modesto Lite Expanded is used as the header. I’m looking for a highly legible font for the body text that will compliment (or go well with) the header.

Beaufort® Extended Regular

Depending on the text size, and the means of printing, you might also consider the Light weight.

Thanks for the suggestion, Nick. Beaufort® Extended Regular or Medium would be a great alternative to Modesto Lite Expanded. Then I could use Beaufort® Regular as the text.

I would like a little more contrast, however.

I’d like a good sans serif text font to pair with Modesto Lite Expanded. I’ve tried Avenir and Neue Haas Grotesk, and I’ll try Hypatia, as suggested above. Further suggestions would be appreciated.
