Licensing for a ransom note using multiple typefaces.

I'm afraid of the answer here...

If I create a logo type for a company that uses letters from lots of different typefaces, does that mean that the license would have to be paid for the font of each letter used? There by making it ridiculously expensive?

Not if you scan your sources from avarious historic sources or use only freeware fonts.

Or if you draw your own letters. Or get a type designer / letterer to do so.

Or use typefaces you've already licensed, the overwhelming majority of which will permit their use in logos.

Your post made me think of WG Grinders where I live. "Lots of different typefaces" in the logo and really good subs.
