Looking for a font for a wordmark
0

I had been browsing, several days, for a font and got lost.
I wonder if you could make a couple of suggestions on
suitable fonts for a wordmark conveying education, culture.
It should look modern, active and slightly quirky.

Thank you so much.

What type of education, and what type of culture?

How you set and/or alter the type (wordmarks or logotypes are rarely straight settings of a typeface) will also influence how the mark “reads.”

Perhaps start with one foundry, like Sudtipos:
http://sudtipos.com/home

They produce beautiful work in a range of styles; run your cursor over the typeface names to see samples (they have a typeface tester on the site, but not for all of their offerings; you can also find most of their catalog on MyFonts).

Many thanks, K.C. Thompson. There are many interesting typefaces at Sudtipos. Perhaps Theorem or Downtempo.

Many Thanks, Hrant, for your always valuable help and comments. Kursivschrift is certainly an interesting quirky font.
