Substitute for Linux Libertine, also compliment to Libertine

My client likes and uses Linux Libertine in his text documents. I'm designing a logo for him and want to use a more quality, error free font. Any suggestions for something most similar in style to Linux Libertine?

Also, what do you suggest as a san serif compliment?

Complement sans serif for Linux Libertine are Linux Biolinum which is supposedly similar to Optima or Candara.

s/supposedly// — Biolinum is rather similar to Optima.

In addition, there is a fork of Libertine/Biolinum at https://github.com/khaledhosny/libertinus

Hello. You could try Crimson Text or Heuristica which I have not used extensively but they are free from fontsquirrel.com. Or try Iowan Old Style which comes with Mac OS X; it has a wide range of characters, including some ornaments, and comes in titling and black weights.
