Typefaces in the 1870s weren’t named the way they are now—they were often given a general style designation followed by a size descipriptor (given that they existed as metal or wood type).

To recreate the look, try Franklin Gothic Condensed for J.F. Glidden Wire Fences:

For the blackletter, that exact style doesn’t appear to have survived into the digital age. Similar:
