Fleischman BT and DTL Fleischmann
0

Hello,

Which to use Fleischman BT or DTL Fleischmann?

I presumed that the Dutch Type Library would be the best place to head for this. I know there are many more weights and optical sizes with DTL, but looking at the Bitstream version I also really like it. Can anyone give a strong reason to use one or the other?

Identifont will give you a side-by-side visual comparison of the basic glyph set, and calls out major differences:

Depending on whether you are using it for running text or display text, one might be more appropriate than the other.

None of them approach the genius of the original.

Hi K.C.
Those 4's are from different number sets i.e. OsF v. LF (dropping the foot serif in OsF's is quite common practice)

Thanks everyone!
Very Helpful.
I'm going to go with DTL this time.

@Hrant, which digitization does? I’m curious…
