Font used in a Japanese cookbook

Classification:

Good afternoon everyone,
I was leafing through a cookbook for tea time snacks and came across some type that I'd love to know more about. I think it's a serif font, but could it also be a display typeface?

It appears to be Galileo (1987), by Casady & Greene, but the company is no longer in business. Luc DeVroye’s page on them contains some sidebar links (Fontspace) where you can download the typeface:

I tried in the font identification website http://en.likefont.com and there are 3881 matched fonts in total, and the most similar font is GalileoFLF Medium.
