Masthead 1950s or earlier, Brooks Press

Classification:

Evening all — I have a masthead scanned from a letterhead I would love to identity. Clearly it is a custom lettered piece, but was wondering what the base typeface might be — akin to Garamond / Garamond Condensed...

The source is 1950s era statement from a Derbyshire printer (UK)...

As always, any help is much appreciated!

thanks

Matt

Sorry, but it appears to be a unique creation.

Garamond and Sabon would be similar.....

I tried in the font identification website http://en.likefont.com and there are 12 matched fonts in total, and the most similar font is Garamond-Serial-Light Regular.
This is my identification result page for your image: http://en.likefont.com/community/6874254/

thanks for these... WEISS certainly fits the bottom line well...
