Do we have a statistician among us (Jon C.?) or someone who wants to figure out whether five matches in our Typophile sample is normal, unusual, improbable, etc.
"Actually, due to freak coincidences, my wife and I know exactly when we conceived our kids. But don't worry, we won't tell them."
hahaha, I think they'll be happy :-D
Talking about April Fools - first due date for the upcoming addition to the Bruhn family was April 1, but now it's changed to April 3 ... we'll see what happens
Funny that there aren't many june/july kids here... I remember when I was in school, the vast majority of the class had their birthdays in those months. For years I was the only april kid in my class.
I hated having a summer birthday as a kid. It seemed we were always on vacations and I never got to have a party with all my friends from church and school. Probably explains why I still enjoy celebrating it. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

thx. for the graph Jared. What app is that?

The test is skewed, because people are participating in a "waterfall"* fashion: they're much more likely to chime in if they see a shared birthday.
* Feeble typographic connection made!

> Yuukkk, your parents told you what day you were
conceived? That's more than what I'd want my parents
to tell me.
Nooo silly! I just like to believe that. It just sounds
better than plain ol' April 8th.
Actually, due to freak coincidences, my wife and I
know exactly when we conceived our kids. But don't
worry, we won't tell them.
Hrant LOL

a link anywhere.

Yves, go to http://www.icalx.com/html/typophile/day.php?cal=Typophile and click the link "Subscribe" on the right side.
BJ, it's Illustrator's graph function, about mid-way down on the tool palette.

_ iCal is great. You can access it via Apple's iCal app (free with OS X) or you can just access the site.
_ Illustrator's graph function is the bomb.
_ Yves, just as long as you don't name your kids after the town(s) where they were conceived.
