Typetester online app.
0

Hi there!

I'm looking for a few type-savvy web designers to beta-test Typetester, an online tool for web fonts, prior to official go. The project is non-commercial. If interested, please contact me via web form at http://maratz.com/contact/

Thx.

What's the font used to set "Lorem ..." in that image?

Web's most readable font :) – Verdana – set at 10px/1.4

In what app?
I get nothing like that with Verdana
in either native-Windows or Photoshop.

It seems to be a verticaly compressed Verdana.

It's Verdana on a HTML page. Maybe it's because of ClearType or maybe it's just my monitor : )

Great stuff. This can be quite useful!

Just one thing: How to access Bold/Italic styles?

I knew you'll be the one to notice that :-)

I already have a version with those options on my hard disk. It just takes time to test it. For now, all of the style/weight/caps combinations are listed in a preview pane.

Oh - I just realized that's all below! At my screen resolution the page cuts off so cleanly at the bottom of the Regular settings that it was easy to miss that... Well, I think this is even better than having menu choices for styles.
