Does anyone know how to convert quotes in indesign cs? I want to replace “lorem” to «lorem» in imported text from word, preferably not manually. Thank you for your help and greetings from Oslo.

Just use the find & replace function.

Thank you. I did that on a book recently, and it was quite tedious work. Maybe I should ask my customers to give me the copy with proper quote marks.

Go to Preferences > Dictionary where you can set which type of quotation marks you want to use. When importing, InDesign should convert all quotation marks to the type of your choice. I think.

If your text is already imported, basically your @$$ is grass. ;-)
