This was probably covered before (I couldn't find it through search), but what is the font used by Typophile.com, in forum post text?
I'm not experienced enough to simply identify fonts from memory. It's nice to see the use of old-style numbers, though.

Georgia
Is this going to count as a type Id? (my fourth ;) )

One of the most readable display faces. Makes sense.
Though I didn't know Georgie came with old-style figures.
Thank you.

Umm... Georgia was designed for on-screen text; it's not a display face (unless you mean something other than the usual meaning of "display face" a.k.a. headline type). It also only comes with old style figures.

I misunderstood. By "display", I meant "on-screen."
I also completely overlooked the fact that Georgia comes with old style figures.
Ugh, I'm not thinking straight tonight.

BTW, Georgia's nums were originally hybrids, but then MS decided
to revent to traditional (and to me less harmonious) OS nums for a
subsequent release.

I agree. (What's up with us agreeing with each other so much lately, Hrant?) It looks odd when you have old style numbers set alongside all-caps. I like old style numbers, but there are situations in which they are inappropriate. Hybrid numbers would have been a better choice for general use.
