Does anyone know what font is used for "Egg Hunt"
http://www.dischord.com/images/020.jpg
Thanks in advance.
Update:
This font was used sometime in the mid 80s. Attached is the EGG HUNT logo on a shirt.

HUNT = CG Bernhard Light

Wow, Tiff!
You can still reference "CG" faces.
We had fun times at CG, but not nearly as fun as CBGB!
And look who's using the old CompuGraphic name... www.compugraphic.com.

When we purchased our first imagesetter -- AGFA 9550 -- we were also giving our choice of the AGFA type library and I had a blast choosing the typefaces.

Sad that such a historical name is being used so poorly. :^/

Thanks. I just checked my suitcase and I don't have a CG Bernhard. :( Is this font easy to get?
Any luck on the "EGG" part?

Many of the "CG" designated designs had a bad rap during the eighties and not all of them were purely "look-alikes".
There were some that we used original source specimens and developed "revivals" of metal cuts. In fact, during the late eighties, René Kerfante (Monotype Managing Director of the Typography Division) mentioned to me that in his opinion, CG's first release of Schneidler was one of the better versions.
This is only mentioned here in passing as an historic reference to "CG" and not intended to open any discussion regarding clones, revivals and historic type pirating. Let's leave that stuff for another thread and time. :-)

EGG reminds me of Roxy from Font Bureau with a little altering. Although, if HUNT is Bernard you are looking for something older. You could also use Mark Simonson's Blakeley for a close match.

"HUNT" looks like Neutraface Display Medium to me.

Couldn't be Neutra as the art was created in the mid 80s.

You're right, of course. Maybe I should say, "Neutraface Display Medium looks like 'Hunt' to me."
