(x) Cattaraugus Cutlery Co. - Caxton {Chester}

Need to ID this font.

It's a lot like Palatino - but it ain't Palatino - obviously it's been stretched and warped a lot, but I'm having trouble finding any other font like this - that style terminal on the a seems particularly difficult to find.

Looks like Caxton, or another of Les Usherwood's types.

Chester is right. It's an abominable treatment of Les Usherwood's Caxton.

It's not like a period treatment of a logo is beyond being done well.

No disagreements from me - it's hideous beyond measure.

But my decision it is not.

Thanks btw, guys.

What a nice alliteration the title of this thread turned out to be. :^)
