i'm looking for a nice Small Cap for a logo. any suggestions?
Serif? Sans Serif? And maybe this is a stupid question, but why Small Cap instead of regular cap?
at this point we just want something that looks contemporary, and "non-wimpy". anything goes.
we want small caps because we want to do upper/lower on the caps. we're actually doing an update on a logo with faux small caps which we want to avoid this time.
the main thing that we are looking for is something that will reduce well.
NC, cool. Most new fonts be created by the mid-sized to smaller foundries contain small caps these days. FontFont continues to release interesting stuff, as does the Font Bureau, House Industries, etc. etc. And, while I hate to plug my endeavours, you should check out some of the work at vllg.com. Mário Feliciano, Lux, Underware, and Thirstype all have contemporary designs with small caps. Upcoming are new fonts from Kontour (Odile) and Joshua Darden (Corundum) which are exquisite and have small caps...
thank you Chester. i'll definately check out the stuff at Village…
looking forward to see the new stuff too.
