Gap After Endquote?!

hello,
i've got a problem with our version of CentaurMT. a huge gap occurs after every end quote glyph.

when i check the kerning between the quote and the space it's 6967. {??!!??????}

does anyone know what is causing this? is there a way to fix it without having to go in and manually set the kerning to 0?

Where did you purchase the license for this font?

i'm not sure (it was purchased before i started working here.)

i wouldn't be suprised if it was purchased a long time ago…

The font seller can fix that for you. Otherwise, I'm afraid you might have an edited or pirated copy. Monotype wouldn't make that kerning decision.

oh well. if we can't figure out where we got it, i guess we should just purchase another licensce…
