Any good classes/courses in NYC? There is never enough typography courses I can take :-)
I've been to SVA and took a class with Ed Benguiat, great attention to detail, and such a fun class!!
not much about layout, grid etc.
Any schools, teachers, classes anyone in NYC know of?
Thanks for your attention

Cooper Union is offering summer classes in both type and calligraphy. Also, Parsons, SVA, and Pratt offer classes in their professional/continuing education divisions, taught by working professionals.
Or head up to scenic Lake Cayuga, where I will be teaching
"Stems and Beziers: An Introduction to Typeface Design"
at the Wells Book Arts Summer Institute, July 9-15.

Typography Summer School (http://typographysummerschool.org) which is usually run in London, is expanding to NY this year. They're accepting applications until the 1st of May. (Disclosure: taught by designers that I do some work for.)
