Thomas went with something else so “TypeA” is open as far as I know. I think some of the negative implications could be mitigated with the right treatment.

“Prefect” now makes me think of Harry Potter, since it’s used in the books with all the senior students. Still, it’s such a great visual word!

Also something to consider is finding a name that has an open domain. Probably not a problem with most type names though as they (for better or worse) aren’t in high demand.

Because of traveling, I’ve been blown away the last couple weekends. And recently I had run out of ideas for fontplays. But this works for me. If anyone else enjoys them, great, but mostly I just do it because I love the therapeutic feeling of making things.

which is a great source of wordplay inspiration in itself.

To clarify, this is going to be an electronic publication, an e-newsletter, some prefer the term e-zine.

I like alphaTIPS myself. Works well with alphaBits and the “Alpha” is more inclined to designer folk.

I don’t really understand the replacement of ph with f, makes Alfatips seem like a magazine of advice for Alfa Romeo owners (and if you’ve ever owned one you will need advice:)
