just starting out with a logo for my design firm..
this is the initial try.. would like some input to further refine or take new direction.

The symbol looks nice, and would be legible and easy to produce for signs. I'm not sure if the font chosen goes with it. Is that Cholla? Something a bit more geometric looking, such as House Industries' Simian or even an old favorite like Handel Gothic might fit better. Just my opinion though.

The viz part of the type seems rather geometric when viewed with the other characters I would look at either a different font or amending viz to compliment the others.

The font is Morgan sans. I kinda chose the font before I worked on the logo. I'll make some revisions soon and put them up for review.. Open to suggestions..

Check out Frutigers Serifa 75 black - i like the interaction between your 70s-like icon and Serifa.
