Anyone?

No, they didn't really match. Almost all striped typefaces I have seen are roundish, like lc "a". What I look for is the strictness in this one, more like an striped futura.

"You are? Lucky dude. Give him a hug from me and tell him I said hi!!"
I will remeber to remind Stephen about that. Especially the hug ,)

fredrik - that's a scan from the new Strokes CD right?

Looks like a photo, but it's certainly something related to 'Room On Fire'. And who'd say they were using a free font? Bah. What a boring album, BTW...

"Is that a Mac or PC
TrueType freeware font?"

I have it on my PC, but there seems to be a Mac version too

"Damn right! How are your wife and micro-Bruhn doing?"
Both are fine & little minature micro inside Lottas Sstomach is fine too :-)

See this thread.
Hmm ... I never did get co-credit for that ID.

Yeah, Mike's right. It's Prisma, issued by Klingspor in 1931.

Damnit you guys are great. The question was from a friend and I had no clue of where he got it from...

thanks again!

There's a whole thread about striped typefaces, though I
don't think there's an exact match amongst the suggestions
made. Have a look there and come back to us if you need
more information.

I luuuurve multilinears. And you're right about the round
ones being most common. This one I would file in the
Futura category. Others in the group:

Odessa / Zeppelin

Sadly, these aren't what you're looking for. Not surprised if
it's custom.

Later folks! I'm off to visit Peter in Malm

I said hi!

NovelFonts sold a font called Prancer. Looking for a sample.

Didn't David Hamuel once ID a striped face in that vein
that hadn't been digitized yet? David, where are ye?

Damn right! How are your wife and micro-Bruhn doing?

At Typophile, you get that little extra: type identification
with free complimentary music reviews. What a service!

Yep, that's it Jan! Briliant catch! Is that a Mac or PC
TrueType freeware font?

Well, there ya go Fredrik. With special thanks to Jan. :-)

I'm fairly certain Mirage and Prancer are both renditions of
some other font, or maybe a photo type thing. Either way
they have the same source design. Nice find, Jan.

Congratulations! Well, we found it without your help.
I thought I remembered this one being IDed by you.
