( Edit-A-Bit: Sorry, You are right, it doesnt seem to be available any longer. I wonder what happened. ’Metron’ has been digitised by Frantisek Storm, in 2004, or so. But it vanished from his site, as well. Very strange. Maybe you want to contact Frantisek Storm directly? Oh, And if you do so, please reply in here with what happened. Thank you. )
I received a reply from storm regarding the disappearance of metron online, it was temporarily pulled due to a copyright issue (no detail) that has now been resolved and will be reissued soon (couple of months maybe)
Jiri Rathousky is not the primary author of Metron. Prof. Petr Tucny showed me dozens of initial sketches from 1968-9 convincing me about his authorship. The drawings are meticulously done on transparent papers, signed and dated. I newer saw something like that in Rathousky’s inheritance. There are also many witnesses confirming the version of Mr. Tucny.
We are working on a new, extended story to Metron and solving copyright issues. It’s going slowly, Mr. Tucny has over 80, and I’m working simultaneously on another projects, holidays, etc...

It still appears on Myfonts as a package, but whether you can buy it from there or they haven’t updated who can tell?
Tim

Any news on Metron? Will it be available online?
Thanks for any information.

I was lucky enough to get this font before it was pulled. I’m glad to learn more about why, and am also curious about the implications.
If Mr. Storm is working out copyright issues how—if at all—does this effect current users?
