What fonts are they using at Esquire these days? I don’t have a recent issue handy and a friend of my wants to know. TIA.

(I tried a search, but the most recent item I found here about Esquire’s fonts was from four years ago.)

The serif typeface is Mercury by/from Hoefler & Frere-Jones.
The sans typeface is Apex Sans by Chester & Rick Valicenti from Thirstype.
The slab typeface is (indeed) Stag by Christian Schwartz of Orange Italic.

While Typophile was down the last day or so I figured it out on my own, but thanks all the same for confirming my id’s.
