What is the name of this font (the two images with yellow text in a black background)?

I’m pretty sure I came accross it before, but now I can’t remember the name. The seven should be a hint. Thanks for any help.

Can you copy and paste the image? The site is saying it’s not available.

Are these recreations of LCD displays on the front of buses? If so, it’s probably a proprietary font of the LCD sign. Univers might get you close, but there are some obvious differences (G, t, 7, etc.).

The last time we were there (in June), the buses we saw didn’t have signs like this anyway, and yes, we were in Hamilton, ON....

Actually, these are not LCD displays. The old buses still have them, and you’ll see the newer buses (with electronic signs) more often.

Ideas anyone?

Some weights of Monotype Grotesque 2 have this style ’g’, and are similarly closed on the C & G, with the arched R leg. I also thought Folio had some weights/widths that were in the ballpark too.

I think I figured out what this font is... Akzidenz-Grotesque BQ. I welcome anyone to confirm my discovery.
