That's possibly a Ray Gun face form the grunge heydays, a Trade Gothic Bold with Serifs slapped on.

That's SerifedSans from David Carson.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be available anymore.

David Carson didn't design most of the fonts that are attributed to him. They were either used by him or inspired by him, but not his work.

Didn't he buy a whole load of them from Miles Newlyn?

Yup, Miles is the guy who designed some of his most popular grunge faces, amongst others the The End of Print collection.
