I have posted a couple of pics before on this topic. I am still looking for the font/fonts that have influenced/comprised the following logos:

Radiant
Modula Bold/Modularity
Antique Olive
Bullet
CA Magic Hour (closest yet)
Something by Karl Gerstner?
“It may be an older proprietary font for a signmaking device like the Gerber SignMaker.”

They look kind of like Serpentine, except that has little spike serifs.

I was not aware ICI was a petrolium company. They only sell paint out where I am.

URW Charter Oak is very similar to many of your examples:
