Are you looking to re-create the mark?

I think this is a custom typeface from the Berthold Type Foundry originally created for Mercedes Benz. It's avaialable on their website. It's callled Corporate A.

I am not looking to recreate. My dad likes the font and wants something similar for his logo (RobertCannon Enterprises).

It's Kurt Weidemann's Corporate A (A for Antiqua). There also is a SansSerif Typeface and an Egyptienne with a dash of typewriter-style. Very strange OSFs, very distinctive flavour all over.

Mistake here i think? Not what you all refer. Check that

The logo show here is really better than the cold Corporate A face :-)

Fontdude you make enterprises more important than Robert Cannon. I'd look at stacking Robert Cannon Enterprises on three lines justified left/right. Keep Robert and Cannon the same size and make Enterprises smaller, (its the least important). Just a thought

Stephen, I like the Bembo suggestion. Waters & Forum titling are too lose. Plus I already own Bembo. Thanks for your suggestions!

I think the only difference ist the R

And the "M", plus the "C" is wider, and the serif shape
is different, so I'll stick with Jean Fran

Getting back to Tom's question, he is interested in something similar.
In that case, I humbly suggest the following:

(Avoid Trajan due to overuse)
Forum Titling
Bembo Titling
Waters Titling
