try as I might, I haven’t really been able to find any online stores with really good, elegant design (let alone any that harness “web 2.0” features like dynamic cart updating, etc. etc.)

I really like boomkat.com

does anyone know of any other really well designed stores?

I couldn’t find the my cart at the Lineto-site.

(Love Ourtype by the way.)

Have you tried adding something to your cart at Lineto? Pretty obvious on my screen.

Good call with OurType.

I can add it, but I can’t proceed to paying.

I’ve found the less ’web 2.0’-ish a store is, the more usable it is.

oh yeah—if we’re talking superficial “web 2.0” design elements. There’s so much potential for using that kind of technology to make shopping carts better/easier/quicker to use, though.

Ourtype’s “try” section is nice. Parry Grotesque made me swoon.

And Fresco Informal! I love this designer.
