A week with Mr. Unger
It's been great hearing from Gerard Unger this week. At lunch he told a joke i found quite humorous:
Q: what do making love in a canoe and american coffee have in common?
A: they're both too close to water.

I've heard this joke several times in another version. Instead of "American coffee", substitute in "American beer." And instead of "too," bring in…well, I don't think Typophile's censoring system will display it if I type it in here ;-)

Long ago when I was a student in London, you had to go to an Italian restaurant to get decent coffee. Now you can go to Starbucks :)
