One Laptop per Child
So the XO laptops are available right now to the general public in Canada and the US.
My partner and I did the get one give one instead of getting christmas presents for each other. I can’t wait to get ours. It’s going to be so fun to play with.

They are very cool - got to play with one in Greece this past summer. Do they say where the buy-one-give-one laptop goes? A friend of mine joked that his was going to Chavez’ kids. ;-)

You don’t get to specifically pick, but the country it will go to is either Haiti, Rwanda, Afghanistan, Mongolia or Cambodia.
