Hairline/thin serif that connotes luxury
I have a weakness for the classy hairline, though usually I see them in sans more than serif. Even if you can’t ID, recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Do a search - “40 BOND” has come up way too many times in the past couple of years. I believe it was identified as a custom Caslon for the New York Times Magazine.
Stephen did a piece in August about extra light type. There’s a section on extra light serifs you might like. Also check out his entry from July about Extra Bold fonts, for the High Contrast section.

ah I should’ve searched; I thought that because the 40 Bond project was a 2007 project, it would not have been too prominent on the type-ID boards
anyhow, thanks for the links!
