Hi,

I’m doing this project that involves the German newspaper Gmunder Tagespost and I would like to know what typefaces they use. Here’s the examples.

The Bézier curves in your first sample are seriously degenerated. It may have started out as some kind of Egyptienne? I don’t know. Even so, that’s actually what the newspaper uses for a logo. Strange! Anyway, the second one I think is Frutiger and the last may be an Utopia...

“GMÜNDER TAGESPOST” seems to be hand-drawn. look at the different “S“.

“ES pumpt Milliarden in Galileo” and “BRÜSSEL” must be frutiger.

the copytext and introtext seem to be utopia (regular and semi-bold).

#1 (masthead) is custom (and quirky, omg!)
#2 (‘EU …’) is Frutiger.
[edit: nevermind]
