So long Comic Sans...

And thanks from a book designer for featuring a more "functional" font. I'm always interested in new fonts that have the versatility I need for text.

I Lived Through Comic Sans Weekend

and all I got was the memory

Ommegaand looks great.

To bad flash doesn't support it's sweet ligatures.

To clear up a conversation I'm having with Patty, wasn't this designed by Stefan (Hattenbach)?

Absolutely gorgeous! Santa just got an addendum to my holiday wish list. ;-)

Yes, this typeface was designed by Stefan, available exclusively through Veer.

I like it when I recognize type designer's fingerprints. Makes me feel young again. Thanks.

Good jokes depend largely on timing. Comic Sans wouldn't have stayed comical for long. =}

Although I'm still seeing Comic Sans on the background of the main menu?

Clear your browser cache, or wait a while. One will bring in the new font right away, the other eventually.

The odd part is that I did that, but it seems to be working now.

metalfoot, for your sake I hope that Comic Sans hasn't somehow become hardwired to your computer. ;-)

Nice. In Dutch ‘ommegaand’ means ‘going (a)round’.

I was just going to comment: "Perfect timing". So I'll stick to "Good job". Thanks for not letting the joke go stale -- now it will stay the hilarious epsiode it was.

Somehow me finding this interlude hilarious worries my friends and family. :^P

I got a funny look from my husband, when I tried to explane the reason I was laughing.
On friday I saw a sticker or something on the ground that said "I heart brandy" in cs. Now I regret not picking it up.
